Assist in the analysis, strategic development, and marketing of APL Logistics Ocean Services (NVOCC services under our IFS group). The person owns the delivery of the service/product, and will be responsible for the P&L results, new business development, education of sales members, and direct customer dialogue to help sales close new business. To succeed, the employee will obtain trade information from various operational, financial, and commercial sources, and then communicate those findings with sales, operation, administration, marketing, and management stakeholders. In addition, the person will work intimately with the procurement teams and sales teams: negotiating alongside procurement when speaking with carriers and negotiating alongside sales members when speaking to customers
