ABOUT CAROL A. CHAPMAN

I have worked in a number of diverse positions. In my teens and twenties I began as a medic who moved onto administrative and legal positions in the Army and Army Reserve. Upon graduation from the Univ. of Wis, I was the Operations Director for Behavior Research Center in Phoenix, a political polling and market research firm. Returning to my legal roots, I worked as a legal assistant and earned my national paralegal certification. As an attorney, I have served as law clerk for the Honorable Joan Kessler, Honorable Paul Higginbotham and Honorable Mark Gundrum. I also worked for three years as an employment attorney and member of the class action team for Axley Brynelson. For the last almost 8 years, I was involved in the education of lawyers, leading the legal books publishing division of the State Bar of Wisconsin. Specialties: Employment Law, appearing before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including cases before the EEOC, Wisconsin Equal Rights Division and Wisconsin Worker\'s Compensation Division. Areas of particular interest include USERRA and FMLA.
