ABOUT CAROLANNE AYERS
Sports communications and event operations professional with experience supporting high-volume, media-facing environments across collegiate athletics and the NFL.I’m a recent University of Colorado Boulder graduate with a degree in Strategic Communications (Public Relations) and a minor in Sports Media. At CU Athletics, I supported game day operations, managed live stat reporting, assisted with post-game media and contributed to press materials across 60+ home events - working in fast-paced, high-pressure settings where accuracy, responsiveness and strong relationships matter. I also volunteered with NCAA Media Relations for March Madness in Denver and completed a Business of Sports certificate through a consulting project focused on event strategy.In parallel, I led department communications and events for CU’s Electrical Engineering program, managing internal newsletters and supporting logistics and strategic planning - experience that strengthened my organization, stakeholder coordination and ability to juggle multiple priorities. Most recently, I’ve been part of the San Francisco 49ers Gameday Communications/PR staff, supporting professional game day operations in a high-volume environment.My passion lies at the intersection of sports, storytelling and delivering exceptional event experiences. I thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments and am always looking for new ways to make an impact in the sports and entertainment space.
