About Carol Trice
My career seems to have come full circle. I started my career as an auditor for Ernst & Whinney (Now E&Y) in the mid-Atlantic states. Switching gears to commercial real estate valuation made use of my financial skills but provided more \"hands on\" experience. When I earned my MAI (Master, Appraisal Institute), I was only one of 14 individuals in the country who had a CPA/MAI combination. In the late 1990\'s, my interests moved to residential valuation. My experience with both commercial and residential valuations has allowed me to gain a broad experience including working for a major national bank to a mortgage servicer in the default space. With increased regulations, I managed the analysis for CFPB compliance for the new Servicing Standards which became effective January 2014. In 2018, I relocated to Seattle to join the Zillow Offers team to manage the Pricing Team. Opportunities outside the lending space for experienced Valuation professionals are rare. This is the opportunity of a lifetime to be part of a team that is disrupting the Real Estate market.
