ABOUT CAROL MULHALL

My accountancy career started by accident at PKF Doncaster in 1997. The Managing Partner Mr Michael Shepherd decided I had great potential and began my training personally, offering me the invaluable opportunity to be trained by an outstanding and accomplished accountant at one of the worlds premier practices. I moved to White Rose Accountants as a Senior Accounant, progressing quickly to Practice Manager. This was an amazing opportunity to learn from an outstanding accountant Mr Simon White. As a CIMA qualified accountant who built a successful local accountancy firm, I learned much from Simon and developed my knowledge and skills far more than I could explain in words. I feel truly fortunate to have had this opportunity to work with such an outstanding accountant and remarkable character. When my largest client at White Rose, the Lazarus Properties Group, left the firm to bring their accounts work \'in house\' I left with them and became their Group Accountant. During my 8 years with Lazarus I implemented and developed all the accounting systems from scratch and had complete autonomy over the entire groups accounts and financials, reporting directly to the Company Directors; Mr Michael Murray and Mr Lloyd Nicholson. My responsibilities in this employment were many and varied, providing me with the opportunity to enhance my skills in management accounting, systems implementation, HMRC enquiries, forecasting and much more. I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked alongside Mick and Lloyd, truly outstanding local businessmen. The knowledge and experiences I was gifted at Lazarus have shaped me into the highly efficient and professional, skilled and unique accountant I am today. From my training and development by some of the most successful local accountants and businessmen I have gained extensive accounting and financial skills and consider myself incredibly fortunate to be able to say \'I love what I do\'.
