ABOUT CAROL MAYO COCHRAN

Carol Mayo Cochran is a talented financial executive, with 40 years of experience in accounting, financial services, and human resources consulting. As a Principal Emeritus of REDW, LLC, one of the largest locally owned CPA firms in the Southwest, Carol helped facilitate the growth and development of the Human Resources Consulting and Business Software lines of business. Carol also oversaw the development of the firm\'s retirement plan administration line of business, which was spun off into Alliance Benefit Group Southwest (ABG Southwest), a sister company of REDW LLC, and recently sold. Carol\'s strong business acumen led to significant growth in each of these business areas, and national recognition of REDW in the areas of compensation consulting, retirement plan administration, and human resource consulting. A Principal of REDW for close to 30 years, Carol possesses substantial experience in compensation planning, incentive compensation plan development, retirement plan administration and design, tax consulting, and accounting services. Prior to joining REDW, Carol served as Corporate Tax Manager and Assistant Treasurer for Hondo Oil and Gas Company (Hondo). During her tenure with Hondo, Carol was their youngest corporate officer, and helped Hondo become an integrated publicly traded oil and gas company. Carol\'s expertise in the areas of management consulting, financial planning, compensation analysis, and employee benefits is demonstrated through her numerous certifications and credentials. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Carol also holds eight other certifications, which are detailed in the professional certifications section of her profile. During her professional career, Carol has served on over 25 community boards, in the role of Chair for the majority of these organizations. A highly sought after speaker and presenter, Carol is also a Distinguished Toastmaster, and served as District Governor of District 23 Toastmasters. As a life-long learner, Carol recently received her Juris Doctorate, Magna Cum Laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in May, 2025. She is additionally an adjunct professor for the University of New Mexico Executive MBA program, teaching financial accounting.
