ABOUT CAROL LEISH

Carol Leish invites her audiences to join her on her personal journey of coping with challenges with her vision and voice. She also discusses coping with depression and anxiety.Carol enlightens people by focusing on the strengths that people with disabilities have and demonstrates that there is always a way to get around a situation by either improvising or accommodating to it. She deals with a sensitive subject in a way that inspires and educates others.Carol realized the importance of educating adults and youth to become more accepting of others, and started her \'Call Me Capable\' In-services presentations, and created and co-developed the Call Me Capable(TM) Game, that was published between 20••••17, and sold internationally. She wrote for two years for her college paper at California State University San Bernardine. She wrote and edited a camp newsletter,\'The Bloomfield Star,\' for a summer camp in Malibu, CA. She also wrote feature articles about speakers for the Ventura County Professional Women\'s Network for 10 years for their publication,\'Focal Points.\' She also wrote guest columns for the,\'Ventura Star,\' for two years. She has been a contributing writer for the \'Ventura Breeze\' on a variety of topics since 2013.
