About Carol Ivkovich

My professional experience and personal commitment to various non-profit arts board positions and committees, as well as my most recent professional appointment as Director of the Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School (JSOCMS), has given me a deep understanding of the impact that sustainable arts has on a viable community. As Director of the JSOCMS, my duties included program design, music instruction, public relations, social media communication, donor relations and fund development. I was directly responsible for budget formation for the JSO Music School and implementation of sustainable projects, which included innovative fund development strategies and creative cross- sector collaborations. My skill set and experience base is broad. My love for arts entrepreneurship and arts education is deep. My commitment to excellence has only grown over the years. From non-profit administration to owning two successful arts-related businesses, I believe I can offer a wide range of perspectives and experiences to non profit arts organizations.
