ABOUT CAROL HERNANDEZ
Previously to Congressional Legislative Fellowship, assignment was with RAND Corporation Project Air Force. Prior to USAF Legislative Fellowship, assignment was in SAF/AQRE as the Deputy, Corrosion, Prevention and Control Executive (CCPE) on the Engineering Policy & Standards and Special Engineering Team in Washington, DC. From 20••••20 assignment at the Air Force Personel Center to the Science and Engineering (S&E) Career Field Team as Program Administrator. Work and led Teams for Force Development, Force Renewal and Civilian Development Education (with applications). Executed six S&E Development Teams and served as Senior Development Team (SDT) Lead, Logistics Lead, and Communications Lead. Teams includes up to 17 SES members. Force Renewal Team had oversight of onboarding, outplacement, and tracking the progress of S&E graduates of approximately 450 interns. Previous experience: Mechanical Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the government while collaborating on sustainment and innovation project with academia/industry. Member of two Source Selection Teams. Skilled in AutoCAD, Analytical Skills, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Microsoft Project. Obtained MBA from Mercer University - Stetson School of Business and Economics.
