   Supervise and manage a division comprising five teams and 60 people with the goal of increasing awareness of and appreciation for the lifesaving work of USAID\'s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.Provide overall management for the creation, production, and distribution of the bureau\'s information products and creative content. Oversee all the bureau\'s media and speaking engagements and internal communications activities. Develop protocols and procedures to strengthen and increase production of public information products and content.Expand and strengthen cross-functional communications coordination with the White House, State Department, UN and NGO partners, and key stakeholders around USAID\'s humanitarian work. Advise USAID leadership on strategic ways to communicate disaster response efforts.Led communications efforts for 25 USAID-led international disaster responses, overseeing media engagements and the production of press releases, funding announcements, social media, blogs, videos, and multimedia content about the agency\'s lifesaving activities.Stood up and operationalized new division and created new cross-cutting team structure to boost collaboration and creativity and provide staff with opportunities to develop new communications skills. Increased number of communications products to more than 1,760 social media posts, 1,150 information products, 25 graphics, and 15 videos a year.Managed public rollout for launch of new bureau by implementing massive rebranding strategy and conceptualizing/directing an ambitious social media campaign. Increased bureau\'s Facebook following by more than and catapulted Twitter following to 4th largest among USAID bureaus within first 18 months of operation.Increased diversity in communications products by reworking infographics, updating visuals to reflect more staff diversity, and adjusting distribution plans to ensure accessibility for people with disabilities.
