ABOUT CAROL FORSYTH
My primary fields of interest are discourse processes, epistemic games, emotions, educational data mining, learning, and Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS). My first goal is to use statistical data mining techniques and empirical investigations to explore relationships between discourse features, affect, and learning. My second goal is to use these findings to create and increase the effectiveness of serious games using natural language conversations in order to make student learning more efficient, adaptive, and entertaining.
