ABOUT CAROL D. MOTLEY
HIGHLIGHTS: Owner of Bury Me Naturally 17+ years of TESOL teaching 15+ years of Community College teaching experience 6+ years of Elementary and Middle School teaching experience I am passionate about education, ecological/environmental improvements, and alternatives to the norm, I love people and feel comfortable in front of groups when giving presentations. I hope to pursue a career where research and development of a curriculum or any field of study where I can grow and share. Teaching has given me a huge range of transferable skills that I hope to use to its fullest. Teaching ESL (TESOL) is where I have the most experience and find it fascinating to teach, Hard work, creative approaches to teaching/learning, and a penchant for reading are the core of what I believe to be important in life! I lean heavily on SIOP methods, studying GLAD methods, and embrace Universal Design as the end-all, be-all for a balanced learning environment. I attend every opportunity for a productive staff meeting or professional Development to build my skills in these areas. Finance and trends interest me greatly. Global issues are always in lessons I create as well as writing to succeed thereby honing reading to achieve! I have a \'bad\' habit of making up all my lessons and pouring over the details of the layout, content, and differentiated lesson plans based on Universal Design.
