About Carol Carter

After a long career in journalism and financial marketing, I opted out of the corporate world and began working remotely as a freelance/contract writer and editor. My expertise is in asset management, financial services and personal finance. My current clients hire me to write and edit content for financial advisors and individual investors. Formerly, I was the Head of Global Creative Services for BlackRock, where I was responsible for the direction of an internal creative team that developed high quality, effective creative solutions that supported the firm’s marketing strategies. The Global Creative Services team works as part of the Global Marketing and Communications group responsible for supporting BlackRock’s retail, institutional, advisory and global businesses. The team is an in-house design agency that works with colleagues throughout the firm to manage BlackRock’s brand and visual identity.
