ABOUT CAROL BROWN
I have a diverse career in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors working in collaboration with diverse colleagues and external stakeholders to forge strategic partnerships, drive revenue growth, and create a positive public image. An articulate communicator and experienced spokesperson, I excel in representing organizations and programs to government agencies, businesses, community members, and other stakeholders. By building strong relationships, I can foster consensus and create a unified approach across the organization to ensure optimal support of our constituents. I am committed to advancing the needs of Yuma’s multicultural population and creating an inclusive environment to position Yuma as a desirable, prosperous community. As a member of the tri-county Area Agency on Aging I have worked and advocated with local, state, and national partners to raise awareness of our key programs to improve the quality of life of our older adult population. Previously, as the Executive Director of Helping Hands of Yuma, I made similar impacts on a more localized scale. Always open to expanding my network, I welcome connections for other nonprofit, community, and business leaders. Thank you for reviewing my profile.
