ABOUT CAROL BROOKS
Cyber Psychologist and Organisational Psychologist with an entrepreneurial mindset - determined to bridge the gap between industry and academiaI am an expert facilitator 20+ years experience providing leadership and team development support to Boards and Senior Leadership Teams in the most complex and political environments, with extremely challenging cultures. Many moons ago I was a Senior Leader within the public sector, have been a Non-Executive Board member and I have worked in academia, designing and delivering Executive Leadership Programmes. Over the last five years, against this backdrop (which I will never turn my back on), I have become increasingly involved in and interested in all things cyber, blended with psychology and the desire to support businesses and organisations. I have recently returned to academia part-time to complete a PhD by research in criminology and cyberpsychology, whilst maintaining my consultancy and training activities. Variety and setting myself challenges are important motivators to how I work. A summary of my cyber business is shared below. Always happy to chat and explore collaborations, so please DM if you are interested. There is nothing more enriching than working and developing business in a shared endeavour with like-minded 3P is a psychology training and consultancy business focused on supporting organisations and businesses to better protect themselves against cyber criminality and crime activity that manifests itself in cyberspace (i.e. online). We work with Boards, Senior Leaders and their teams to build capacity and capability (preparing, protecting and preventing), by bringing the human element to the cyber world. We do this by applying the latest research themes and findings from the growing discipline of cyberpsychology, and occupational psychology - combining subject matter expertise in leadership, intelligence, cyber investigations, law enforcement and strategic cyber security leadership. Our client relationships are underpinned by the values and Code of Conduct and Ethics of the British Psychological Society and we are known for our integrity and discretion. We are energetic facilitators who bring clarity and focus to client discussions, helping people to make sense of ambiguous and complex situations. We maintain perspective, taking a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and bring humour, sensitivity and discretion to all situations.
