Carmen is an entrepreneurial business leader having grown up helping out in her father’s bridge construction company and subsequently owning a supermarket at the age of 19. She’s built a career building organizations and leading teams that have delivered exceptional results. Carmen’s extensive experience ranges across the retail, healthcare, consulting, and technology services firms from start-ups to Fortune 5 companies. She has also served in leadership, board, and advisory board positions from start-ups as well as professional organizations as a board member and holding positions of secretary, treasurer and president. She created the professional association for physician advisors from inception to growth and subsequent merger. She created and implemented new programs, such as the WI-Women in Healthcare Leadership conference and CFO conference. As a board member she led the revision and subsequent implementation of a revised treasury investment policy. Carmen demonstrates passion, compassion, transparency & trust, as she coaches individuals, teams, and executives. Leveraging a unique combination of business management & entrepreneurial development, clinical knowledge, consulting acumen, relationship building skills, and team leadership in order to construct high performing companies which provide real solutions to complex issues.As the leader of the EHR Services business unit for the Healthcare division of a large for-profit technology company, I delivered greater than 200% Y0Y growth ($29.6 million to over $84 million) while improving gross margins. Developed six service lines with three prestigious, national firms, delivering significant sales targets ($1-3.5 million annually), while establishing high level C-Suite stakeholder relationships throughout the U.S. Established numerous high performance cross-functional teams by providing strategic vision and committing to each individual\'s career development. Delivered hundreds of thought-provoking presentations ranging from small groups to large national professional association meetings with audiences of over 500 on various topics ranging from leadership skills development, operational performance improvement, regulatory compliance to revenue cycle, customer success in a SaaS company to technology implementation and integration.
