ABOUT CARMEN BRUNO

Since 2012 I worked as a consultant in different companies creating value through design research, product design, user experience design and visual communication. In the same years, I co-founded the design studio Visibilio Design based in Milan. In 2015 I started a research collaboration with IDEActivity Center in Politecnico di Milano where I\'ve strengthened my research and envisioning skills, pursuing a Ph.D. in design. My research focuses on designing methods and tools to empower a Creative Thinking mindset and a Design Thinking process, boosting human Lateral Thinking and Digital Creativity skills, exploiting the opportunities of the emerging digital technologies. In the last 5 years, I combined my design and research abilities to generate innovative technological products, services and strategies, in both research projects and corporate collaborations, always keeping a human-centred perspective. I strongly believe that people and strategies, not technologies, drive the digital transformation. I\'m a Design Thinking trainer and facilitator, tutor by the School of Design and Poli.Design of Politecnico di Milano. I published more than 20 articles and scientific papers in books, magazines and design journals. I am a proud DIYer, an experimental chef with a great passion for photography, flowers and plants.
