playground. is a young multidisciplinary design studio based in Manchester. Key to our work is a strong narrative, bold use of colour, and most importantly a sense of playfulness. With each new project we like to engage with a different design discipline, producing work across a range of scales, both temporary and permanent. Our work ranges from architecture and interiors; to furniture and art installations; exhibitions and community workshops; and public realm design. With everything that we design, we aim to be thoroughly engaged in the build process. Each project is uniquely tailored to the client and site, and aims to create an engaging and memorable experience for all those that interact with it, making the city that little bit more playful.
