I lead a talented team of naturalists and land stewards who serve thousands of students, teachers, families and adults each year to deepen their connection to nature through meaningful experiences. I work with a variety of partners to ensure people from all backgrounds, age, and abilities have equitable access to nature both at Wehr and throughout Milwaukee County. I\'m beyond thrilled to step into the Director role at Wehr Nature Center in partnership with the Milwaukee County Parks. I am excited to meld my past work in environmental education, volunteer coordination, fundraising, conservation research and land management into this culminating role. The community-based work, inclusive staff and center, and innovative thinking are all areas I am inspired to grow as we move together into this next chapter for the nature center and parks system.
