I like to approach each project like I\'m making a new friend—exploring the myriad of layers and nuances of a client\'s story to best understand their dreams, motivations, and unmet needs. Perhaps this love for expressing narrative and personality is why my favorite part of each project is the Discovery phase, when a client\'s vision and \"what-if-we…!\"s are melded into the project story, which acts as a lens through which all future project decisions are made. Advocating for sustainable design is essential to my practice as a designer in the year 2025. As part of the global Gensler Product Sustainability (GPS) Standards core team, I aim to turn the challenge of climate change into approachable, everyday actions designers can take to create healthier interiors and more resilient buildings. I\'m a designer and planner to my core, but I also enjoy how much this industry allows me to work with and learn about new people. I\'m open to mentorship opportunities and ways to connect with my adopted Vancouver community.
