About Carly Cirra

I love the energy of events and the impact of meaningful guest experiences. I am a junior at The Pennsylvania State University studying hospitality management, with minors in business and entrepreneurship & innovation. Outside of the classroom, I’m involved in Alpha Omicron Pi and THON Dance Marathon, where I\'ve built genuine connections while working with others toward a common goal. This past summer, I worked as a Venue Marketing Intern for Allegheny County Venues, where I supported event coordination, managed social media, and collaborated with vendors to help bring each event to life. I was especially drawn to the behind-the-scenes details that shape how guests experience an event from start to finish. My background in fast-paced hospitality settings has taught me how to think on my feet, anticipate guest needs, and create positive, memorable interactions in a fast pased environment - all things I’m excited to continue developing in future roles. In my free time, I love to cook and host, creating spaces where people feel connected and comfortable. I’m interested in pursuing a career in event planning, and I’m always open to connecting and learning more about the hospitality industry!
