ABOUT CARLY PHILP

I am a Partner at Morecrofts. I specialise in personal injury and clinical negligence law, helping individuals, families, and estates secure the compensation they deserve after suffering harm due to negligence. I joined Morecrofts in 2008 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2013, with over a decade of experience dedicated to supporting clients through challenging situations.My expertise covers a broad spectrum of cases, including road traffic accidents, workplace injuries, slips and trips, animal-related accidents, abuse survivors, and victims of crime. I also have extensive experience in social care negligence claims.I am committed to providing a personal, empathetic service, guiding clients through the often complex legal process while ensuring communication is clear, jargon-free, and accessible. Building trusting relationships with my clients and achieving successful outcomes is what drives me.I have successfully handled high-value, complex litigation, particularly in cases involving competing medical opinions. I am also accredited as a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), a mark of my dedication and expertise in the field.In 2017 I was shortlisted for the Junior Lawyer Award at the Liverpool Law Society Awards. Outside of work, I’m a proud parent to two young children, which keeps me busy but also reminds me every day of the importance of securing a fair and just outcome for my clients. When I used to get some free time, I used to enjoy travelling and dining out!
