I’m a strategic thinker that sees in great detail.Being visionary and having a keen eye for detail is a unique mix which allows me to get behind great causes, services and ideas with passion and energy, whilst also understanding what it takes to implement vision well. This skill mix means I’ve picked up the nickname of The Editor (for the detail) or The Superglue (for the unseen steps I take to hold things together.)I’m naturally forward thinking and can spot gaps, risks and opportunities before many others. I have a personable, professional approach that means I work well alongside a range of stakeholders, at every level. I have a proven track record of developing a large network of positive and long-standing working relationships. I have high standards for myself and the services I oversee but I lead myself and my staff with compassion and genuine care. I have several years’ experience of senior management within complex, dynamic and target driven mental health and public health services. I make decisions at pace, steward resource efficiently, harbour resilience and meet challenging deadlines and objectives.
