Operations Director at Tyler Grange Group Ltd working to support the success of our three disciplines - Ecology, Landscape and Arboriculture as well as the TG Hub (our incredible fee earning support team). Full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and treasurer and committee member on the South West England Section of CIEEM.Experienced ecological consultant conducting and co-ordinating ecological appraisals, assessments and impact assessments for EIA in relation to a wide range of land use change including residential, industrial, commercial and retail development as well as renewable energy proposals and infrastructure (rail and highways). ‘Suitably Qualified Ecologist\' in the preparation of ecological reports for BREEAM. Prepares and devises mitigation strategies and management plans for a wide range of protected species and habitats and proven success in the preparation of Natural England licence applications for European Protected Species (including great crested newts, dormice and bats) and badgers affected by development.Experienced in negotiating and agreeing pragmatic strategies with various stakeholders and consultees including Natural England, Wildlife Trusts, Environment Agency and others.Experience in providing ecological inputs to Parkland Plans in parkland restoration schemes and associated detailed advice to ensure compliance with wildlife legislation in the implementation of these plans.Excellent field skills with survey licences held for bats, great crested newt and dormouse.
