I am dedicated to inspiring a love for the natural world and its fascinating history. With a background in arts, humanities, and social sciences, along with 30 years of volunteer experience, organizational involvement and fundraising for various non profit organizations, as well as personal philanthropy, I believe in the power of storytelling and hands-on learning to connect people with our planet\'s wonders. My journey has been inspired by a deep appreciation for tactile experiences and the arts, which fuelled my vision to create an interactive museum focused on natural history and fossils. Visitors of all ages can engage with exhibits that highlight the incredible diversity of life on Earth and the stories told through the fossil record. I\'m particularly passionate about making STEAM fields more accessible for women and breaking the stereotype that dinosaurs and palaeontology are just for kids & boys. What began as a small, family-owned fossil restoration company has transformed over 22 years into two independent entities: Pangea Fossils and Dino Lab Inc. Pangea specializes in the location, excavation, restoration and preservation of fossils, ensuring their educational and scientific value. Dino Lab serves as a museum, educational facility. Together, we\'re dedicated to promoting knowledge and appreciation of natural history.We prioritize community engagement by offering educational programs that promote an understanding of palaeontology, environmental stewardship, and the importance of preserving our planet\'s natural heritage. Our tactile approach encourages exploration and curiosity about the ancient life that once roamed our Earth. In addition to our accessible exhibits, I have created a vibrant gift shop filled with STEAM-based items, with a strong focus on showcasing Canadian female vendors. This initiative not only supports local entrepreneurs but also provides visitors with resources and tools to inspire their curiosity and passion for science.
