About Carlton Ward
I am a photographer working with National Geographic and other partners to inspire the protection of land and water. My current project, working with our team at Wildpath, is Path of the Panther, which helped achieve the Florida Wildlife Corridor Act in 2021, establishing a new framework for conservation in our state. A feature documentary film about the work is coming to a major streaming partner this year. I am an eighth-generation Floridian, motivated to balance the needs of land, water, wildlife and people for a future that sustains the diversity of life on Earth. Our company, Wildpath, creates stories and campaigns to achieve this mission. Previously, I founded the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation and am a founding Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers. I am a National Geographic Explorer, fellow of the Explorers Club and fellow of the Royal Geographic Society. My fine art photographs are also available through CarltonWard.com and select galleries.
