ABOUT CARLTON H. BROWN

Carlton H. Brown Sr. earned his Bachelor\'s degree at the prestigious California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Brown hosted the first-ever Top Rank Boxing Match live telefeed on the California Central Coast. After a series of business ventures, he graduated to establishing and owning four retail franchise stores, which he managed for five years. Mr. Brown was a top salesperson for both BMW automobile sales and a large timeshare company for over five years, setting the standard at each company with record-breaking sales and earning top commissions. A born leader, he is very popular and is known for his contagious enthusiasm, his ability to motivate others around him, and his strong perseverance despite obstacles. Combining his love for sports and his passion for helping at-risk youth, he \"bucked the trend\" in a good-old-boys town by establishing a Little League Baseball chapter, so that all kids would have an equal opportunity to play.\"Coach Brown\" is proud that the players experienced wonderful mentoring to help them become successful adults, and today many of them are still excited to call him \"Coach\". He continues to support the San Luis Blues Baseball Team,\"Sharing the Dream\" is a Dr. Martin Luther King foundation Mr. Brown supports each year, and spreads the message through his weekly television show,\"Sharing the Central Coast Dream\". With a heart for uplifting the neglected, he has served on the Board of Directors for the local Boys & Girls Club, Little League Baseball, and Prado Road Day Center for the Homeless. He is a 25-year Deacon at his local Christian church and was recently invited to participate in the local Chamber of Commerce\'s Diversity Committee. He enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren and traveling with his wife, because of the time freedom his business affords him.
