Serve as the architect for Race Forward’s federal initiative to govern for racial equity. Ensure the applications for advancing racial equity keep pace with the aspiration for racial equity. Drafted six position descriptions and responsible for staffing the federal team. Partnered with PolicyLink to implement and evaluate the “For Love of Country” federal pilot. Imbedded the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE) model in the “For Love of Country” pilot and customized GARE training materials for federal audiences. Co-developed and conducted multiple learning labs on equity for federal clients. Set up a peer review panel for Race Forward reports that target federal audiences. Recommended qualified candidates to GARE affiliates who were recruiting to fill strategic managerial positions. Participated on a panel hosted by Representative Ayanna Pressley’s staff and the Committee on Oversight and Reform on Executive Order 13985. Raised funds for Race Forward’s 40th anniversary peer-2-peer campaign.
