Carl is the Director, Architecture & Cybersecurity for Hema-Quebec, where he ensures the protection of digital assets and the resilience of IT infrastructures. With a caring, human and collaborative approach, he puts his expertise to work to foster a proactive cybersecurity culture that is integrated into the company’s operations. With over 20 years of experience in technology and information security, he has acquired in-depth expertise in risk management, cybersecurity governance and the strategic alignment of security initiatives with business objectives. Holder of the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and CCISO (Certified Chief Information Security Officer) certifications, he also holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Université Laval in Quebec City. His academic and professional background allows him to adopt a strategic and innovative vision of information security, integrating best practices and the most recent technological advances. Bilingual, he easily evolves in French and English environments, facilitating collaboration with partners and multidisciplinary teams locally and internationally.
