Piano WorkshopsDuring our piano course you will learn to play a wide variety of music. We will give you practical exercises to help you gain confidence practising on the keyboard.On our in-person, you’ll learn to play the piano/keyboards on digital pianos, one instrument per pianist. You’ll play together as well as separately and silently (with headphones) at various times in each lesson. Online courses are on Zoom. For either option, you will need your own piano or keyboard at home to practice between lessons-During our beginners piano lessons you will-Learn how to name all the notes on the keyboard-Practice correct finger placement, hand and sitting positions-Learn about scales, key signatures and chord progressions-Practice playing in pairs and as a whole group-Learn a wide variation of musical pieces and develop your improvisational skills-How to read piano music, identifying where notes are on the piano and learn about musical terminology-Developing your knowledge and ability to play chord progressions and key signatures-Practice playing solo works-Developing your music theory knowledge-Further develop your improvisational skills and musical terminology knowledge
