I am a product designer turned startup founder who wants to help people provide people with digestive diseases a structured, personalized approach to exploring intervention effectiveness and navigating care options.My 12 years experience as a designer, product manager, and technology consultant, combined with my 20 year journey managing IBS and GERD, inspired me to build GastroKnowMi (GKM).There are 99 million adults in the U.S. that live with Disorders of Gut-Brain interaction (DGBIs), contributing to $112 billion in gastrointestinal care costs annually - that’s greater than trauma and mental health care. My vision for GKM is to help empower people with education, evidence, and guidance that helps them manage symptoms, improve care experiences, and utilize care services efficiently.
