About Carlos Rivera

I am the IT Manager for Endpoint Technology for Love\'s Travel Stops and Country Stores. In this role I lead a number of teams in standardizing and organizing the roll out of all the corporate and store endpoints (computers, mobile devices, virtual environments, etc.) in the environment using tools such as SCCM, VCM, Dell KACE, VMWare Products, AirWatch, and other tools. The work we do prepares the store machines for installation at the locations and also assists in configuring them after they are installed. We also prepare the images and applications that the Desktop team uses to image machines and deploy applications as well as work closely with vendors on the configuration of hardware for the locations at corporate and the stores.Prior to joining Love\'s, I worked for two other organizations, 7 years at The University of Oklahoma and 7 months at SandRidge Energy. I held multiple roles while at OU and worked from a student position to being in a Management role for the Lab and Classroom team. At SandRidge, I was in Executive Support providing technology support to all the executive level employees, including the CEO and Executive VP\'s in the company.I\'m passionate about my work and am eager to continue to work with teams to help provide the best solutions available for the job at hand. Working with other teams and business units to provide them with solutions to their needs is something that I enjoy a great deal. Communication is definitely the key to success when dealing with business units and their needs.I have a Masters Degree in Administrative Leadership as well as a Bachelors Degree in Computer Operations Technology. I enjoy using what I\'ve learned in school to aid in my everyday interaction with both team members and others within the company and do my best to work with others to provide the best solutions for the needs at hand.
