I have \"Public Trust\"(Level 5) federal national security clearance. I have the privilege of working (as the \"Team Lead\") with a team of mathematical statisticians in the Applied Statistics Team (AST) in the Data Analytics Branch (DAB) of the Division of Violence and Suicide Prevention (DVSP) in the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC). The AST is a group of twelve statisticians that collaborate with and advise divisions/offices in the CDC and external partners on study design and analysis using traditional and emerging statistical methods. The AST multiple software to develop innovative statistical methods for application to injury surveillance, research studies, and program planning, and evaluation.
