Current role:I oversee the programmatic & fiscal performance, policy compliance, service delivery and technical assistance for a multimillion-dollar portfolio of WIOA-funded workforce development programs (American Job Centers & delegate agencies/community-based organizations) across Chicago and Cook County, ensuring alignment with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act requirements.The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (“The Partnership”) is the largest nonprofit public workforce system in the United States. Funded through federal, state, and local grants, it works in collaboration with employers, community-based organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies, under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Labor (DOL), Department of Chamber & Employment Opportunity (DCEO) and in collaboration with the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), Department of Human Services(IDHS), Public Health(IDPH), and the Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, among others.The Partnership’s mission is to drive economic growth and workforce development across Cook County by connecting job seekers to employment opportunities and helping businesses find skilled talent through a wide range of workforce programs and services.
