Realization of frontier simulations with the AVBP codeHighlights- Awarded the 2022 Vermilion Medal (\'Vermeil\' medal) from the Air and Space Academy for the work in the project FULLEST- Perfomed the first large eddy simulation of a full engine (from fan inlet to exhaust).Main Tasks- Conduct large eddy simulations on high speed trains to evaluate the performance of the AVBP code- Evaluate the tool Tekigo to reduce the cost of large eddy simulations with static mesh refinement on industrial combustion chambers- Develop SPOD tools in python and its interaction with the code AVBP (fortran) to inject the main modes at the inlet of an LES of a turbine.Other Actions- Development of post-processing tools in Python useful for the team.Supervisors: Jérôme Dombard and other members of the CFD groupIndustry collaborators: SAFRAN
