Mr. Passi is the former Vice President, Finance, Global Sales and Distribution responsible for IBM’s financial operations, strategies, management, and controls across the North America, Europe, Japan, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Greater China Group, and Middle East / Africa geographies.Prior to this current role, Mr. Passi was Assistant Controller, Business Transformation responsible for IBM’s Financial Processes and Systems, Finance talent development, and the governance of IBM’s Financial Centers of Excellence. Mr. Passi was also the CFO for the Corporate Innovation and Technology function which includes Research and Technology and Intellectual PropertyPrior to that role, Mr. Passi was Director of Financial Planning for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Paris, France, where he was responsible for the consolidation of EMEA’s financial plans and measurements.Mr. Passi joined IBM in 1984 as a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in Boulder, Colorado and since then he has held the positions of Corporate Budget Coordinator, Program Manager for the Internet Division, CFO for the Power Parallel Division and various other managerial, planning, pricing and technical positions in New York and Colorado.he former
