After encountering too many people in his life that didn’t know how or when they would be able to retire, Carlos began serving as an independent insurance agent in 2004. After quickly falling in love with working alongside clients to help create their retirement strategies, he went further and opened the doors of CKG Financial in 2016 after hearing too often that clients didn’t have a financial advisor they believed in. Now a financial advisor himself, Carlos joined Regal Financial Group and he specializes in helping create legacies for families in his community. The relationships that he’s built with his clients serves as daily motivation to provide them with clarity, balance, focus and peace of mind no matter what life brings – a clear vision for their retirement that he feels truly connects him to them differently than a typical advisor. It’s those relationships that he considers as the most rewarding part of what he does. Carlos is fluent in Spanish and is an active part of his community. He has taught financial courses for various Calvary Chapel churches in his area and previously hosted a radio program on retirement planning. He began in the financial services industry in as a mortgage loan originator, a service he still provides today. An Investment Advisor Representative, Carlos holds a Series 65 securities registration and is life insurance licensed. Carlos and his wife, Kristina, live in La Verne with their four children: Genevieve, Gianni, Caleb, and Joshua. They enjoy supporting their kids’ passions for sports and music. When they are not spending time with their kids and their activities, you can find them out hiking the local mountains. Carlos is also an avid reader of non-fiction books, with his favorite being The Bible for its timeless lessons.
