Manage the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Program team responsible for performing project management and internal controls for the Department of the Navy (DON).Manage coordination with over 20 accounting, internal audit, and IT teams to develop various internal control related governance, testing, and remediation deliverables to government leads for continuous improvement of DON processes.Create yearly DON IRM Program Plan of Action & Milestones (POA & M) to mitigate internal and external audit deficiencies that impact Financial and IT systems.Create quarterly executive briefings (e.g. Senior Management Council (SMC)) for Highly-ranked DON Officials providing updates related to internal audit and remediation efforts.Draft the annual IRM Program Handbook which provides Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls Over Financial, and Internal Controls Over Operations guidance to perform internal controls assessments and remediation DONSupport the implementation of the ServiceNow Enterprise, Governance Risk and Compliance (eGRC) Tool to the DON to provide a centralized system to perform end-to-end, IT, entity level, and fraud risk assessments.Manage quarterly Risk Assessment efforts of over 1600 ICOR-F risk and controls in eGRC following government policies (e.g. OMB Circular A-123 and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)) and providing quarterly reports to the Office of the Secretary of Defense.Perform Test of Design and Test of Effectiveness Entity Level Controls and GAO Fraud Risk Management focusing on effective operations of internal controls design and implementation.Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents for the project ensuring all CDRLs have the correct evidentiary artifacts, and client/partner approvals prior to submitting to the contracting office.Perform hour forecasting trends to determine manpower costs and provide to leadership for review.Draft various technical and past performance documents used for business development.
