   As Project Manager (PM), I am responsible for managing a large pipeline of turnkey, energy-saving lighting, & controls projects. This involves continuous communication and coordination with the Branch Managers (BM) and the Salesmen(OSR). Building the Salesmen’s existing customer relationships, nurturing them through the development & closure of a project opportunity. Serve as the primary contact for subcontractors.• Serve as the primary customer contact for project work. Responsible for regular customer communication, including updates & changes to the schedule.Primary contact for site walk-throughs, labor quotes, schedules, subcontracts, and work orders. Responsible for keeping the BM and OSR current on all projects and project opportunities.• Primary contact for approved subcontractors regarding labor quotes, site walk-throughs, establishment of project scope of work, project schedules, manpower requirements, work orders, subcontracts, and change orders. Also, direct selling to subcontractors.• I use a variety of proven sales techniques in assisting OSRs to turn project opportunities into new business. Grow subcontractor sales via direct selling, specifying, & communication.• From walk-through to audit, specifying, quoting, financing, & facilitating labor quotes to proposing and closing the sale.• Keep current with new product & technology developments, understand the competition & national markets, and learn about accessory product lines. Participate in approved associations and community groups. Develop loyal customer advocates. Communicate vendor-related project support services like financing assistance, tax services, ASHRAE, & similar mandated requirements, & green/sustainability certifications.• Safety Advocate – Understand industry & company safety policies, stay current w/OSHA training. Represent Voss in safety matters at customer job sites, alerts of any safety concerns or unsafe conditions, & intervenes when necessary to ensure a safe worksite.
