Mechanical Engineer with 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry involved in drill bits, coring, down hole tools operations and well construction, and responsible of develop custom solutions in different countries in South America, Middle East, and North America. Extensive expertise with different type of drilling applications including fast and hard rock drilling, abrasive zones, transitions drilling in conventional and non-conventional reservoirs. Capable of design fixed cutter bits (matrix & steel) and roller cone bits (insert & tooth) as per customer needs, with more than 100 new drill bits designed for different regions and application worldwide. Large experience analyzing downhole vibrations for optimizing drilling parameters and bit design features to improve performance.Demonstrated effective leadership skills while completing projects in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Oman, and USA to positively contribute to different companies. Extremely reliable team worker who requires absolutely no supervision to complete tasks. Consistently ensures organizational objectives are represented in the best way possible.
