Investigate suspicious insurance claims including worker’s compensation, bodily injury, property loss, and disability claims. Conduct comprehensive interviews and present information on suspected insurance fraud to be filed with the state. Surveil suspect insurance claimants and provide video, photographs, and reports. Conduct insurance “claims assist” investigations.Highlights:• Produced contradicting surveillance video of suspects who claimed inability to work due to physical issues. Video showed one suspect using a chainsaw and an axe to cut wood and then load the wood into the back of a pickup truck.• Successfully conducted a suspicious claim investigation and obtained a claimant’s statement that contradicted police reports. Investigation findings showed that the timing of reported thefts corresponded to the implementation of statewide regulations that would have prevented the claimant from operating his business.• Established the legitimacy of several red-flag claims that occurred under strange circumstances by investigating the claims with a focus on objectivity, thoroughness, quality, and cost control.
