I led the global Custody Clearing and Settlements team as the primary subject matter expert, focusing on making operations smoother, increasing client satisfaction, and reducing risks. By encouraging a sense of ownership, accountability, and transparency, I achieved 100% positive client ratings, improve workflows, and cut down on settlement failures. I worked closely with Relationship Managers, Shared Services, and Custody Liaisons to build strong teamwork and create a service that truly puts the client first. To better manage risks, I introduced automated clearing controls using Alteryx and developed a comprehensive four-level global coverage model. This approach helped lower key-person risk, standardize procedures, and mentor junior team members towards greater operational independence. I also managed the full trade lifecycle for prime brokerage clients, including trade capture, matching, affirmation, and settlement through CTM—while minimizing operational risks and supporting escalation across various asset classes. Additionally, I served as the subject matter expert for the Repo Loan product, leading the migration of hundreds of billions in repo positions, stabilizing the platform through Azure DevOps, and delivering engaging client presentations that encouraged successful adoption.
