As a Gas Turbine System Mechanic in the U.S. Navy, I honed a diverse skill set that combines technical expertise, leadership, and adaptability. My military experience provided an invaluable foundation in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing complex gas turbine systems under high-pressure and mission-critical conditions. These responsibilities demanded precision, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems—qualities that I’ll carry into every profession. During my service, I developed strong collaboration skills, working effectively within diverse teams to achieve shared goals. As a GSM I was required to interpret technical manuals, implement system upgrades, and ensure compliance with in safety and operational standards. This experience has fueled my passion for engineering, problem-solving, and project management, which I am eager to apply in the civilian sector. As I transition into this new chapter, I am particularly interested in opportunities within project engineering and field service engineering. Both areas align with my strengths in hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and coordinating efforts across teams to deliver results. My goal is to contribute to innovative projects, expand my expertise, and continue growing professionally while connecting with like-minded individuals in the industry.
