Since april 2013 Carlo Rossello is partner and head of the Maritime, International Trade and Insurance Law department in BETTINI-FORMIGARO-PERICU (\"BFP\") Law firm, with offices in Genoa, Milan, Rome, Cremona and Padova, Italy. Lawyer professionally active since 1980 and qualified to plead before the \"Corte di Cassazione\" and other Superior Courts of Italy since 1996, Carlo Rossello is specialized in legal consultancy, disputes and arbitrations (institutional and ad hoc) in the matter of shipping and international trade (transnational contracts), with particular focus in: marine (H&M, P&I, cargo) and transport insurance; ship-building, ship sale and purchase, ship-financing contracts; marine casualties; arrest of ships; cargo and hull claims. Carlo Rossello has also a strong specialization in Information Technology Law (computer contracts, software protection, e-commerce, Internet providers contracts and liability ecc.), field in which he published books and other works, and gave legal consultancy in prominent cases. In 1983 and 1986 he has been visiting scholar at Berkeley University School of Law (Boalt hall), where he studied English and American commercial law.
