ABOUT CARLO G. DI FRONZO
I’m a Client Service Associate at Valley Oak Wealth Management (VOWM), where I support over $407M in client assets across 925+ accounts. I execute equity, ETF, mutual fund, UIT and alternative investment trades, rebalance portfolios, open accounts, and automate operations to ensure our clients receive timely, seamless service. In a single morning, I raised $236K across ~75 tax-aware trades for 58 households to fund requested and required distributions — accurately factoring in tax lots, account types, and withholdings. I also built a custom inflation-adjusted cash flow model in eMoney to solve a firm-wide retirement planning issue — an improvement now used in every semiannual review! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Political Science and Business and was inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. At USC, I was consistently named to the Dean’s List and expanded my international and strategic outlook through study-abroad programs at Università Bocconi in Milan and LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. Before joining Valley Oak, I interned in venture capital and business development, where I sourced and presented early-stage investment opportunities, conducted market and competitive analysis, and supported strategic decision-making. These experiences sharpened my research and communication skills and laid the foundation for the analytical thinking I bring to wealth management today. Currently, I’m completing Amplified Planning’s CFP Board–approved externship (awarded via full scholarship) and preparing for the Series 7 and 66 exams. I’ve also earned certifications in Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, and eMoney to strengthen my command of financial data platforms, portfolio analytics, and planning software. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue both the CFP and CFA designations. My goal is to continue growing as a trusted partner to clients — someone who not only understands the mechanics of financial planning but also brings clarity, creativity, and confidence to every interaction.
