I am humbled and excited to be bringing my talents and passion to my hometown of South Phoenix to help serve the students and community at SMCC, by being part of a dynamic team that is establishing and launching a Career Services Center from the ground up that this community needs and deserves!While I will be wearing many hats, my main objective once we are officially up and running, will be to help support and equip our students with the skills necessary to help them reach their career goals: from resume writing, cover letters, mock interviewing, to helping them visualize and secure their path through internships, career opportunities, higher education, and overall career and holistic coaching.Overall, I am thrilled at the opportunity to be in a position to pay it forward to the students in the community that is near and dear to my heart and helped mold me into the person I am today. This work is not a job but a calling and this role is personal to me.Stay tuned!

Born in South Phoenix, Arizona, raised by a single mom, I am proud to say I am a Latino who grew up from humble beginnings and became the first in my family to graduate from college. I am passionate about life-long learning, enjoying life with loved ones, and helping others reach their goals and aspirations. My biggest dream is to host my own show, like Oprah and Dr. Phil, so I can make an impact globally, and also to serve as an inspiration to the youth of my community by demonstrating that anything is possible, no matter where you come from.
