ABOUT CARLIE HEWITT
I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I am drawn to IU for their excellent reputation in the business world. Thus, I am eager to take advantage of Kelley\'s resources and develop my professional skills, which is evident through my internship with FORVIS and my involvement with Pi Sigma Epsilon business fraternity. However, I have discovered my passion for volunteering along the way. When I first got to campus, I joined Civic Leadership Development (CLD). CLD is a club within Kelley Institute for Social Impact and is focused on helping the IU and Bloomington community through volunteering. At first, I simply attended events. However, I gradually became more involved and am now the Vice President of Marketing. I love CLD and volunteering, because I can give back to those around me. The impact made through community service is tangible and transformative! I am eager to continue learning as a student and professional, pursuing my passion for volunteering, and working at a company that aligns with my career aspirations and values. Ultimately, my goal is to become a forensic accountant.
