About Carli Gustafson

I am a proud alumni from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I graduated in December 2012 with honors and double majored in Finance and Spanish. I aspire to continue to grow my career in the Corporate world where I can utilize my knowledge for Finance and Spanish.Academically, my extensive course work in the finance department at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse has allowed me to gain strong financial and analytic skills. Also, after more than ten years of studying the Spanish language I have not only developed very high communication skills, but I also learned a lot about culture. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain, which shows my ability to speak the Spanish language, my independence and my ability and eagerness to live and work within different cultures.Throughout the first four years of my collegiate career I was a member of the UW-La Crosse Women’s Soccer Team. Being a division 3 student athlete took a lot of commitment and dedication. During these four years I developed strong leadership and time management skills. I was also a member of the professional business fraternity on campus, Delta Sigma Pi. My involvement with DSP has allowed me to enhance my professionalism and improve my networking skills. Although I was very involved on campus, I was still able to maintain a high GPA and graduate with honors- which exemplifies my hardworking and dedicated attitude.I am currently the Area Senior Manager, Field Sales at Republic Services, one of our nation\'s largest recycling and waste management firms, covering Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin & Minnesota.
