Since 2016 carl has been an advocate for ESOPs or Employee Stock Ownership Plans. For this he has created a strategic partnership with The ESOP Group. This Atlanta-based team has advised onover 800 transactions in its 33-year history while having almost $5 billionassets under management as of January 2025. When The ESOP Group moved its practice to RBCWealth Management in mid-2023, Carl followed. He remains focused on helpingbusiness owners who wish to use ESOPs as an exit strategy.He has an undergraduate degree in biology from Whittier College. His priorcareer experience includes positions on finance staff at Ford Motor CreditCorporation, Manager of Financial Planning for Caesars World, and finallyAssistant Treasurer for Hilton Hotels. He has earned a Certified Exit PlanningAdvisor designation from the Exit Planning Institute.Carl lives with his wife, Diane, in Orange County, California. They enjoy theirgrandchildren, giving to charity and taking care of their pets.
