With over 30 years in the nuclear energy industry, I have dedicated my career to driving innovation, improving business processes, and modernizing plant operations. As the Business Process Program Manager at Energy Northwest, I lead strategic initiatives that integrate technology, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to enhance efficiency and performance in a high-reliability environment. I work in partnership with industry leaders through the Nuclear Energy Institute Innovation Task Force, Utilities Service Alliance Innovation Committee, and the Nuclear Business Intelligence Council, helping to shape the future of nuclear energy.My international experience includes serving as Site Manager, Independent Nuclear Assurance (INA) at EDF Energy in the UK, where I provided independent oversight of nuclear safety and performance. I also contributed to major nuclear safety initiatives, including collaboration with Autorité de Sûreté Nucléaire (ASN) and the Office of Nuclear Regulation (ONR) to improve plant operations at Dungeness B.I have contributed to major industry publications, including reports for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), focusing on plant modernization and AI-driven solutions for nuclear power.With advanced certifications, including Senior Reactor Operator certifications on three nuclear reactor designs, and an academic background in Computer Information Systems (M.S.) and General Science (B.S.), I bring a strong technical foundation, strategic vision, and a passion for innovation in nuclear energy.I welcome discussions on nuclear modernization, AI in high-reliability organizations, and business process transformation.
